Manage Tokens

At this step, Carina introduces features that let you manage tokens for your trades such as importing or deleting tokens. Let’s explore how you can take full control of your token list and customize your trading experience.

1. Import Tokens

Unsupported Tokens

On Carina, we only allow you to add tokens that operate on the SEI network. If you try to add tokens that don’t run on SEI or are not supported by SEI, Carina will display a message saying no tokens were found.

For example: if you add the OKB token on Ethereum, since Carina only operates on a single chain "SEI", Ethereum will not be supported, and the system will display "No token found".

Step 1: Go to Carina and press "Select Tokens" on the box token.

Step 2: Search for the token name or paste the token address into Carina’s search bar (e.g., Tether USDT).

The token you’re looking for will appear in the results.

Unofficial Tokens

To ensure maximum safety, always enter the official token contract address into the search box. This helps prevent any risk of manipulation or scams. For ERC-20 tokens, the contract address begins with ‘0x’ followed by 40 characters. You can usually find this address by checking the token on trusted websites.

Step 3: Once you find the token you want to add, click ‘Import’ to add it to the list in Carina.

Step 4: After importing, you’ll be able to trade the token on Carina Swap.

2. Delete Tokens

Carina allows you to remove tokens by deleting them individually in the token management section. Here’s a detailed guide:

Click on ‘Manage Tokens List’ at the bottom of the token box.

Step 2

You can delete individual tokens by clicking the trash icon on the right side of the token list.

Or you can remove all imported tokens at once by clicking the ‘Clear all’ button.
